Squash

February 26, 2007 - July 3, 2023

To our little Squash

From the day you were born you were the sweetest little girl.  You fell in the bathtub, got squished in the fridge and were into all kinds of mischief.  You had many different nicknames, Pork Chop, Fatso baby, sweet face, Lula, all because you were such a cute cat who loved to eat and always had a darling look on her face. You loved beating up on your brother who took it all from you and never fought back.  We had you for 16 years and I wish it could of been many more.  Ours hearts are breaking and miss you very much little girl.  You will always be remembered for the sweetest little girl.  I hope you are free of all the pain you have had and are enjoying kitty heaven with all the other beautiful cats and your momma.
Love you little Squash

Missy

2005 - November 1, 2021

Missy, you came to us 15 years ago  You were everything I wanted, a beautiful Calico.  You first lived down the street with a couple of big dogs but you loved coming over to our house.  Eventually I asked the neighbours if they wanted you and they said we could have you.  That was one of the best days.
You gave us a few scares when you went missing for a week.  You were no where to be found.  We whistled for you as you always came back home when we did, I think you thought you were a dog sometimes.  Anyways, we whistled for you the last time before we were going to leave on holidays and low and behold you came running down the street.
You gave us 2 more beautiful kittens who are still with us, Squash and Tuffy.  They miss you very much as we do.  It is hard to look at all the places that you sat or laid but we know that it was time for you to say goodbye.
As much as it hurt we said our goodbyes on November 1, 2021.  You had a good life Missy for 16 years and we will forever love and miss you.

Love from Mom, Dad, Squash and Tuffy

Dexter

October 13, 2007 - March 22, 2019

In loving memory of Dexter, or Good Grunt as my son always called him.

You were always there buddy, through thick and thin. Thank you for listening to me, sitting with me when I would cry, play and dance when we were all happy. Thank you for looking after the kids so well. You were their brother and everyone loved you so, so much. Your beautiful face will be missed forever and I hope you know at the end, all us humans that love you agreed to take a portion of your pain so that you could be free of all yours. I fell in love with you the moment I saw you and even though you were the tiny 2.5lb runt of the the litter, you grew to be a majestic, beautiful, loving member of our family. You are perfect - goofy but perfect.

You will be missed. Forever

In loving memory of Turbo . He was a loving cat that loved to play all day no matter what . Miss how he would look underneath my bedroom door at me and how he would meow calling you to come and play . He will be missed dearly but always be in our hearts . Love you big guy RIP Turbo .

Dunkin 2001-2017

Dunkin was a very affectionate, well behaved, good looking boy. I picked him up at about 1.5 yrs of age at the Humane Society. I guess the best way to put it in words, is that we were both lucky to find each other. He was a wonderful companion for me, and I gave him a comfortable, good life. It was a heartbreaking decision to have to lay him to rest on the morning of August 22nd of 2017, but we knew in our hearts, it was the right thing to do. He was suffering too much from breathing difficulties, an enlarged heart and liver, and had stopped eating altogether. I now have arranged a little memorial of him. Rest in peace my little buddy.

Milo Dec 1, 2006 - March 14, 2017

You will live on in my heart my little friend so true, and memories of you will fill my mind until I go to you.

He came to me an orphan only hours old. I took him in and fed him by bottle until he could eat on his own. He grew into my best friend. He was happiest just to be with his family, whether we were out camping having an adventure or we were sitting on the couch watching a movie. Cancer took my best friend of 10 short years. He is missed by all of us, his people and his puppy.

Little Joe July 6/2002 - February 7/2017

Despite high hopes for a good result, Little Joe was losing a hard fought battle after cancer surgery and we decided to say farewell for now. When the time came, Joey perked up with his favorite blanket and stuffed bear and we had some cuddly time together. He will be sorely missed. One of his favorite things to do daily at 6 am was running up to the closed door of my home office before I had the coffee made, as if to say "time for us to go to work Dad - open the door". Once the door opened he would hop up onto his reclining chair and watch me work until break time.

Buckles 1999-2015

Ditto 2010-2015

MacKenzie 2002-2016

MacKenzie was a wonderful companion and he will be greatly missed.

Menace

SGT. MENACE TANNER, 12, passed peacefully after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Menace was a graduate of the Michael Q. Nelson School for Wayward Girls and went on to capture live bats. He never missed the dinner bell tho and when tossed a piece of popcorn it would usually bounce off his forehead. When ever Menace walked into a room brass bands would play and whenever he left people would ask, "Who wasthat masked kitty cat?" Known by a few, imitated by many, he will be sorely missed by all. Rest in peace, Menace.
